Here are the things we love about North Texas in July.

Independence Day ~ Celebrate the fourth in style like our little Lady Liberties, Harper and Hadley!

Addison Kaboom Town, July 3, 5 p.m. to Midnight – Kaboom Town will be shooting off alluring fireworks that will be going off to the beat of the music. Come celebrate with your friends and family while enjoying all of the entertainment. Addison Circle Park, 4970 Addison Circle Drive.

Texas Rangers Fan Sleepover, 5 p.m. July 3 to 7 a.m. on Friday, July 4. – Join your fellow fans at a sleepover under the stars at the Globe Life Park in Arlington. There will be music, fireworks, races and games and much more. Pack your sleeping bag and a pillow and head out to enjoy the ultimate ballpark experience. Globe Life Park, 1000 Ballpark Way.

Lone Stars & Stripes Celebration, July 4 – Lone Star Park is hosting fun for everyone with live horse races, bounce houses, pony rides and a petting zoo. Bring your kids out for a 4th of July they will never forget! Don’t forget to stay at the park after the races to watch a twenty-minute firework display choreographed to music! Lone Star Park, 1000 Lone Star Parkway.

Other fabulous happenings in July:

Taste of Dallas, July 11 through July 13 – Taste of Dallas will be hosting more than 50 restaurants selling food outside, plus 20 restaurants inside for those who want to stay cool and refreshed! Esplanade Fountain inside Fair Park, 3600 Grand Avenue.

Bastille on Bishop, July 14, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. – Bastille on Bishop is kicking off their fifth annual celebration in the historic Bishop Arts District. French themed foods will be available such as crepes, sausage with baguettes, mussels and much more! Don’t forget about picking up your wine glass at the front gates to drink some of the delicious wines. Bishop Arts District (400 and 500 block of Bishop Street between Seventh and Melba).

Storytime at the Amon Carter Museum, now through July 30, 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Bring your kids to the Amon Center for storytime every Wednesday. Snacks will be provided and you’ll be amazed with all of the diverse and productive art making activities. Keep your eyes peeled for fun specials like wearing your pajamas to storytime! Shakespeare in the Park, now through July 19 – Grab some blankets, pack a picnic and experience Shakespeare in the Park at the Samuell Grand Amphitheatre. Enjoy Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing or Moliere’s Tartuffe. You can purchase tickets in advance or you can become a member and find out about specials throughout the year! Samuell Grand Amphitheatre, 1500 Tenison Parkway.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, July 30 through August 10 – Don’t miss out on the circus coming to the American Airlines Center this summer. Pre-order your tickets now for endless entertainment of the circus show, the animal open house and meeting the stars! American Airlines Center, 2500 Victory Avenue.
