What We Love About Dallas

We are thankful for so much this month and throughout the year. Don’t forget to show your gratitude, even if it is in a small way, every day!

Thank you Big D for giving us so much to do in November! We love our great city!


White Rock Lake Festival, November 10-11 – Celebrate the lake (and efforts to keep it beautiful) with two days of “tunes and trucks,” which means a full line up of musical acts and food trucks parked along the shoreline. There will also be pet adoption, arts and crafts, a petting zoo and face painting.

The Capital One Bank Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot, November 22 – Largest Thanksgiving Day event at of its kind in the country starts at Dallas City Hall Plaza.

Thanksgiving, November 22 – Celebrate with family, loved ones and friends in your own special way. Your family and you can watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade all morning long. Don’t feel like cooking? There are several restaurants around North Texas with special Thanksgiving feasts.

The MAC (McKinney Avenue Contemporary), through December 8 – Visit one of its three stellar exhibitions on view now!


Linking Together DFW North Texas, November 13 – This monthly networking event will be held at Surface Décor in Irving.

Network of Executive Women Texas North Central Fall Networking Event, November 13 – This event will feature a panel that will touch on themes and topics addressed in the book and collection of essays by Ellyn Spragins, What I Know Now: Letters to My Younger Self.

D/FW Business and Career Opportunity Fair, November 14 – This event, held at the Park Inn by Radisson, will feature companies looking to hire, work at home opportunities and more.
