Dallas Right Now

April means rebirth and renewal. With glorious weather ahead, North Texas families should be all about enjoying the outdoors this time of year in the “Big D!”

From season openers and Easter to Earth Day and everything in between, there are plenty of egg-cellent activities to enjoy this month:

Texas Rangers Home Opener – Play ball! Hats off to our boys as they start what we hope is one fantastic season.

Easter in Lee Park – What better way to celebrate Easter than with food, friends, family and music? Families can even bring their dogs along for the fun, as there will be a Pooch Parade in addition to a Bonnet Contest.

Bunny Rabbit Days – Have portraits made of your children with live bunnies at NorthPark Center!

Texas Discovery Garden Easter Egg Hunt – Bring your basket and join the fun!

Earth Day Dallas at Fair Park – Outdoor family fun, entertainment and education. Learn about the simple choices you can make to improve your health and reduce your cost of living, all while having a positive impact on the environment.

Arts & Letters Live – A Dallas Museum of Art celebration of the literary and performing arts featuring acclaimed authors, actors, illustrators, musicians and more.

Turtle Creek Association 2012 Home Tour – Featured homes are in the Centrum, Vendome, Claridge, Park Towers, and Place des Vosges areas. The After Party will be at the Ritz Residences.

5K & 10K Runs – Stay healthy this spring! Sign up for one of the many runs happening this month – and take your kids and pets!

Happy Easter! Happy Earth Day! Happiness to all!
